ISS Transit Prediction Pro is an Android app that generates International Space Station transit predictions for the Sun, Moon, and planets. Developed by Ed Morana, this app is an excellent tool for space enthusiasts.
The app requires the user to enter latitude, longitude, and elevation to download the latest orbital information as Two Line Elements. ISS Transit Prediction Pro generates a transit prediction map that contains prediction paths for each transit within a specified alert radius. The app also provides an alert radius for the users to set.
The user interface is clean and straightforward, providing four buttons on the main screen: Location, Two Line Elements (TLE), Generate Prediction, and View Prediction. The options menu allows the user to add, select, edit, or delete saved locations, view, share, or delete saved prediction maps, set user preferences, list or delete the downloaded Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data, and display the help page or application version, credits, and links.
